2 National Guard soldiers, 1 Border Patrol agent killed in Texas helicopter crash are identifiedLA GRULLA, Texas (AP) — A National Guard soldier from New York who was seriously injured in the crash of a helicopter flying over the U.S.-Mexico border remained hospitalized Sunday while authorities released the names of the two National Guard soldiers and a Border Patrol agent onboard who were killed.
The three killed Friday in the crash in a field in Texas near Rio Grande City were: Chief Warrant Officer 2 Casey Frankoski, 28, and Chief Warrant Officer 2 John Grassia, 30, both with the New York National Guard; and Border Patrol Agent Chris Luna, 49. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. The UH-72 Lakota helicopter was assigned to the federal government’s border security mission when it went down while the helicopter was conducting aviation operations, according to a statement released by Joint Task Force North, a military unit that supports Customs and Border Protection. No other details were provided. |

Our Community Day began with our Communications Director Katie Ryan-Greenwood. Katie thought it would be amazing to welcome her husband SPC Adam Greenwood and his comrades home from their deployment.
We are so grateful to the New York Army National Guard and Air National Guard and the Saratoga County Sheriff's Cadets for making it such a special day for our military and 1st responders.
They gave of themselves for us… it’s our turn to give back to them

It will also provide a spectrum of services—from massage to marriage enrichment, stress management to job placement—to smooth the difficult path of reintegration into civilian life.

We just hosted a Community Day at Vander Molen Fire Apparatus Sales and Services.
We would like to thank the New York Army and Air National Guard for the great work thaor our miltiary at the Rotterdam Elks. t they do. They set up a Rock Wall, Obstacle Course and Football toss. Co A 3/142nd Aviation from the Army National Guard flew to our Community Day and the kids and parents had a blast. CW3 Alex Madeo and his crew were so great sharing their work as Helicopter pilots of a BlackHawk UH-60 and the crew were great helping our attendees sit in their helicopter.
